Overview:
Dawson and Amanda were deeply in love with each other throughout high school. Dawson was born into a broken family while Amanda was born into a privileged family. Towards the end of their senior year, Dawson chose to break up with Amanda because he wanted her to have a better future even if it meant he wasn’t in it. The two don’t see one another again until 20 years later at a funeral of a mutual friend. At this point in time, Amanda is married to the town dentist, Frank Reynolds, and has 3 children: Annette, Lynn, and Jared. Seeing each other makes them realize they still love each other deeply. Their love is different this time and it will effect both of their lives in completely different ways.
Review:
We gave this book 4 out of 5 stars. We felt that it started off very slowly at the beginning, but gradually had us wanting more. We recommend this book to anyone that has an eye for romance novels and doesn't mind shedding a few tears at the end.
