The Husband's Secret

Book Summary: The story begins immediately. Introducing characters left and right. It is all taken place in Australia.

        The first family is about a woman named Cecilia. She is considered to have the “perfect family.” She is married to John-Paul and has three lovely daughters Isabel, Esther, and Polly. Isabell is the oldest daughter. Esther the middle child who is interested in history books, is always telling her mother all about the Berlin Wall. Polly, the youngest, according to her parents is the prettiest little girl in the world. John-Paul’s job keeps him busy, he always has to leave for a couple of weeks at a time.

The second family is all about a woman named Tess. She is married to Will and they have a son named Liam. Felicity, Tess’s cousin also stays among the bunch. Tess, Will and Felicity have a business together. One evening after dinner Will and Felicity tell Tess they are in love, they haven’t slept together yet, but are in love. Tess and Liam take the next flight out to Sydney to stay with her mother, Lucy.

Tess enrolls Liam into the school she attended as a girl. Cecilia’s daughters attend the same school. While enrolling Liam, she sees a familiar face, an ex, Conner.

The third family is all about Rachel. She has a son named Rob who is married to a woman named Lauren and they have a son named Jacob. She also had a daughter named Janie. Her daughter Janie was murdered twenty-eight years prior. The cops never caught the killer. Rachel believes it is Conner, but never uncovered solid proof to lock him up. She works at the school everyone attends

How will all three families come together? Is Conner really getting away with murder? 

Review:
   Overall it was a good book! She kept the secret well hidden. The author added a lot of mystery that captured the reader's eye in short periods. She did a good job with keeping us questioning what the "secret" was about and linking all the characters together. Definitely made you critically think about the secret. With that being said, we recommend this book to middle-aged women than over the younger generation of women.
