Hazel, who has cancer and has to wear oxygen constantly, is forced to go to a support group. She hates going until she meets Augustus. Augustus has osteosarcoma which caused him to have a prosthetic leg. After group they go back to his house and discuss favorite books. She tells him to read An Imperial Affliction, which he grows to love. It's what ends up bringing them together. Augustus made a wish to go to Amsterdam with Hazel to meet, Peter Van Houten, the author of An Imperial Affliction. On the flight there Augustus told Hazel that he loved her. After meeting the not so great Van Houten, they went to the Anne Frank Museum where they had their first kiss, than went back to his room where she told him that she loved him. The next day Augustus told Hazel that he had cancer. Over the next several weeks Augustus grew sicker, and Hazel never left his side.

The Fault in Our Stars is a book you will not want to put down. If you enjoy books, full of witty humor and heartbreaking events, this book is perfect for you. Expect to laugh, cry and smile throughout this masterpiece by the amazing John Green. We highly recommend this book to anyone.
