GCC Reads

This is an awesome program to be involved in! It's an opportunity to share with others your passion for reading and it also promotes critical thinking as you discuss the interpretations and opinions of your peers. You can gain a greater understanding of your culture and those of others through actively engaging in group discussions regarding the books you're reading. I thoroughly enjoyed being involved in this group and I am sad to see the semester end. I encourage others to get involved in future semesters because it is a fun and educational opportunity. It is also a chance to get acquainted with some very interesting people and socialize with individuals you otherwise wouldn't have had the opportunity to meet. It's exciting to be involved in an effort to make reading fun and simultaneously promote literacy. Get involved!
